The Warp Dimension is the extradimensional origin and source of Warp Magic, existing outside the Material Realm and its conventional laws of time and space. Little is truly known about its nature, as direct observation is nearly impossible, but it is believed to be an extreme concentration of unstable, time-bending magical energy where distance, direction, and duration lose conventional meaning.
Scholars theorize that the Warp Dimension does not function as a place in the traditional sense, but rather as a fluid medium through which reality can be bypassed or reshaped. Prolonged exposure is considered catastrophic, and vessels or individuals that become lost within the Warp are rarely, if ever, recovered.
