Appearance
Greys have slim and wiry humanoid builds, typically standing between 6 and 8 feet tall, with elongated torsos, arms, and legs that give them a distinctly fragile yet refined silhouette. Their heads are large and rounded, dominated by two massive black eyes. Their skin is sleek and grey in color, smooth to the touch, as Greys do not grow any sort of body hair. Facial features beyond the eyes are minimal and subtle, contributing to their iconic appearance.
Grey bodies are biologically advanced, allowing them to self-regulate thermodynamics and remain comfortable in extreme heat or cold. This biological efficiency also grants them resistance to radiation and other environmental hazards that would be lethal to most species. Greys have a particularly low birth rate and can only ever give birth to a single child in their lifetime. As a result, Grey populations are naturally small, and birth is treated as a deeply celebrated and coveted event within their culture.

Greys are a notably passionate and spiritual people, despite their calm and reserved outward demeanor. They possess a unique ability to bond with others, allowing them to feel and experience the emotions and sensations of those they are connected to. Strongly bonded Greys can feel each other’s love, lust, pain, and even death. While Greys can bond with any species, these connections are immensely stronger between Greys themselves. The strength of this ability depends entirely on the depth of the bond, being nearly nonexistent with strangers, but profound with family and deeply bonded individuals, even across great distances.
This innate connection shapes Grey society, making them an intensely spiritual people who are often deeply devoted to their chosen beliefs, families, and bonded partners. Their emotional awareness also allows them to regulate their reactions with remarkable control, making it rare to see a Grey lose their composure. Alongside this emotional mastery, Greys are incredibly intelligent and inventive, with much of their technology forming the foundation of many modern inventions across the galaxy.
