Homeworld: Mandrith
Galactic Population: Common
Lifespan: Roughly 60 Years
Appearance
Khryll possess a distinctly insectoid yet humanoid form, characterized by a chitinous exoskeleton rather than skin. Their bodies are lean and muscular, supported by long, digitigrade legs that give them a forward-leaning posture. While they typically stand around 5 feet tall at rest, a fully extended stance can place them between 7 and 8 feet in height.
Their heads are dominated by two large, dark eyes and slender antennae that enhance perception and environmental awareness. A four-part mandible structure forms their mouth, subtly articulating during speech. Khryll exoskeleton coloration most commonly ranges through greens, olives, and pale yellows, often with faint natural patterning unique to each individual.
Overview
Khryll are widely recognized for their exceptional perception, heightened awareness, and advanced intellect. Their ability to process complex information rapidly, combined with their keen awareness, places them among the most intelligent species in the galaxy. These traits make them particularly effective in analytical, tactical, and high-precision roles.
Culturally, Khryll are solitary by nature. They form no familial bonds and hatch independently without parental roles shaping a society centered on personal progression rather than lineage or legacy. Mating is viewed as a biological necessity rather than the foundation of partnership or family. As a result, Khryll often excel as scholars, strategists, and soldiers, favoring self-mastery, individual merit and cultural progression over social bonds.
