Sylvos – Keeper of the Wild

Sylvos was once a mortal human druid on the ancient world of Duskara, known for his profound and unique connection to nature and natural magics. His abilities were unmatched, and his devotion to studying the balance and coexistence of ecosystems bordered on obsession. He believed deeply in the natural order, dedicating his life to understanding the intricate relationships between all living things. As his power and knowledge grew, so too did his ambition. Sylvos sought to put his ideals to the ultimate test: to create a bridge between the primal and the sentient. Using his ancient and powerful natural magics, he gave certain animals of Duskara intelligence, sentience, and humanoid forms, transforming them into the first Beastfolk. These beings retained their animalistic traits but were gifted with wisdom, creativity, and the ability to shape their own destinies.

Sylvos devoted the rest of his mortal life to leading and teaching the Beastfolk, guiding them to live in harmony with the wilderness and to respect the natural order. Under his guidance, they thrived, forming societies that balanced the wisdom of civilization with the primal truths of nature. His teachings spread far and wide, and the Beastfolk came to revere him as both their creator and their spiritual guide. His influence was so profound and his impact on the world so lasting that, upon his death, the great all-god Mythos ascended him to godhood and granted Sylvos the title - Keeper of the Wild.

Sylvos became a god within the heaven realms of Mythgard, where he is tasked with overseeing the biodiversity and balance of ecosystems not only on Duskara but across the Star Wilds. He is worshipped not only by the Beastfolk but by druids, naturalists, and all who revere the natural world. Sylvos’s divine mission is to preserve the balance of life, ensuring that the natural order endures even in the face of growing civilizations and cosmic chaos. His worshippers see him as a protector of both the wilds and the harmony between life and nature, embodying the principles of coexistence, preservation, and natural beauty.
